We prefer named sources and public records, and we explain what we do not know. Headlines describe what the story says. We do not manufacture urgency or withhold information to drive clicks, and every story is checked and approved by an editor before it is published.

AI tools help us research and draft, but a named editor checks every fact against its sources, edits the text and decides what is published.
Verified before published
Claims are attributed. Numbers are checked against primary documents where possible. Uncertainty is stated rather than hidden.
Independent of advertisers
Commercial content is labeled and produced separately from the newsroom. Sponsors have no influence on what we cover.
Corrected in the open
Significant corrections are noted on the article with the date and what changed. Updated stories show an updated timestamp.
